JUNIOR CAMPERS

Junior Camp starts their day with the rest of the campers in our Opening Rally for songs, games, and some Bible time. When older campers break off into specialties, our Junior Campers break off to their own classroom for story time with crafts and activities centered around the book of the day. Each day’s theme is based on the book read during story time and features warm weather and summer themes throughout the three weeks. There is a different theme each day, so campers attending Camp 5280 for multiple weeks will experience a different theme and activities every day. We join the rest of camp for lunch in the cafeteria, are together with the older campers during our bible time and everyone’s favorite, Snack Shack! While the older campers head to group games in the afternoon, our Junior Campers head back to our classroom for some guided playtime and centers. We finish the day with the rest of camp for trivia. Junior Campers get the full experience of Camp 5280 with a few modifications for their age group. We have tons of fun learning about Jesus, creating, playing, and sometimes getting a little messy!
